Kanazawa University, which has a history of more than 150 years as a core university on the Sea of Japan side, is further accelerating challenging efforts as a world-leading international education and research base. The university has established the ""Kanazawa University <Global> Standard"" (KUGS) as an ability that students should acquire by the time they graduate, and has established an educational system to increase their human abilities. Aiming to be a university that develops outstanding education and research on a par with the rest of the world, we will promote the strengthening of research capabilities in new fields and integrated fields, and focus on developing global human resources as a university adopted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Top Global University Project (SGU) project.
